Your Shangaan family will host you while you are not in the Park, doting on you, and caring and feeding you, as part of their family. Make friends with the Village community while you experience the 'Big5'.

Brief Description:

a Taste of Africa have developed their products around their staff, learning from their culture and daily routines.

Although we cater for groups of 12, we do make arrangements for groups of 20. Should you have a need for a greater number, we will make special provision. Our aim is to provide personal service, and it is lost if we extend our numbers.

We leave Melville, Jhb Central, and Soweto from 05:30 in the morning to avoid the traffic that would add a few hours to the trip. (Lunch not included).

A Soweto Home-stay the night before we leave will just prepare us for the magic that we are going to experience in the Village.

Arrival at the Village is approx 14:00 and the first hour is devoted to the Village Introduction, your family, their facilities.

At 15:45 you are transferred to the Punda Maria gate where the Kruger Park vehicle will collect you for a sunset drive.

Sunset drive from 16:00 to 19:00 and then back to the village family for supper and a night under the stars.

Depending on the number of nights you have available, we will follow a similar schedule, however, we are flexible and when finalizing the visit, we will cater for your special interests.

Day 2: (3,) Early breakfast / take-with to meet the Kruger Park vehicle for the morning drive.

Return by 10:00 to 10:30 and spend the morning relaxing with the community. Lunch will be provided.

Enjoy the rest of the day with the community, and your next drive would be the 'sunset drive', approx 90 minutes before sunset.

At 15:45 you are transferred to the Punda Maria gate where the Kruger Park vehicle will collect you for a sunset drive.

Sunset drive from 16:00 to 19:00 and then back to the village family for supper and a night under the stars.

Provided we have a min of 4 pax, the Kruger Park Vehicle and guide will collect you from a central point in the Village for the arranged drives.

This collection experience in the community streets is a magic eperience because of the excitement of the children.

Use you morning RE-Entry permit to gain access to the Park. The Kruger vehicle will again drop you at the Village after the tour.

Enjoy you village experience to the full, depending on the composition of the group, we will arrange for joint participation with the group and the village families for entertainment, or as the Villagers will refer to it, 'celebrating'.

On our final morning, we will depart approx 08:00, it is often difficult to get the good-byes over quickly.

20% Deposit, and balance 7 days prior to commencing date.
